It’s almost funny how, as cameras got simpler with new technology they also became prone to damage much easier. I still have working 35mm camera equipment that works just fine but, file and processing are no match for DIGITAL. That being said lets move on with my senseless rambling about digital cameras.
My first digital camera was a Sony 3.8mp and I’m sorry to say that it, just wasn’t what I hoped for. It took great pictures but, within a few months, the lens protective shutter started to get sticky and less than a year later, the lens wouldn’t open correctly. Needless to say, 1st cameras down the tubes.
With the use of a cell phone, I got by for under emergency fishing pictures when needed and only if needed.
It was more than 6 months before I finally got another digital camera. This time was a Nikon 6.0mp and loved it. It has its own issues already though, sticky lens protector thing again and more recently bad pictures (excessive light and lines on any still). This is just amazing now, 2 cameras with issues not worth dealing with. I want to take pictures and can’t. I’m in anticipation of a new camera and really wonder how long this next camera will last.
