Planning to visit PA or the scenic Poconos?
Maybe you’re planning a one day trip from NY or looking for a few perfect Pocono destinations to add to your Pocono vacation adventures.
This1is4u: One of my all time favorite Pocono destinations that tops my list is, the Pocono Snake and Animal Farm.
Pocono Snake and Animal Farm Entrance
The Pocono Snake and Animal Farm and the variety of reptiles and other wildlife under roof is without a doubt, one of the list-toppers of must-see Pocono destinations to add to your trip list when you visit PA. This is one wildlife related Pocono attraction my family and I visit on a yearly basis because it always puts smiles on the youngsters faces and makes for great conversation to our next Pocono destination. Believe me when I say, the family owned and operated Pocono Snake and Animal Farm has been delighting visitors for over 35 years and is certainly well worth the visit. Picture a scaled down version of a zoo with a fantastic selection of animals and reptiles including a Timber Wolf and Black Bear that coexist in the same cage, 100 year+ Alligator Snapping Turtle and Python that is over 23 feet long. Offering lots for children; they can feed monkeys, pigs, goats, deer and can even stop to pet some rabbits while you take a stroll around the farm enjoying a piece of the Poconos. Some of these same animals or reptiles have made appearances with such celebrities as Jack Hanna and late, Steve “Crocodile Hunter” Irwin!
I’ve provided just a glimpse of the fascinating animals and reptiles to be seen at the Pocono Snake and Animal Farm, you can stop in yourself to see the rest. Sure hope you add this to your trip list of Pocono destinations. It’s one of my families favorites and I’m sure your children will be smiling within minutes of your arrival, enjoy!
